Manufacturing Associate

Job Description

We're seeking a hands-on, mechanically inclined Manufacturing Associate to support our clients plastic manufacturing operations. This role combines light mechanical assembly, deburring with inventory control to ensure the production floor has the tools, hardware, and components needed to run efficiently.

Location: Haverhill, MA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

Pay: $20.00-$25.00/hr (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, assemble, deburring and maintain basic production hardware using blueprints and technical drawings
  • Track, organize, and replenish inventory for tools, hardware, and machine components
  • Conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Communicate with production and purchasing teams to ensure materials and parts are available when needed
  • Perform general mechanical support tasks to keep operations running smoothly
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain documentation for all work performed
  • Identify opportunities to improve organization, efficiency, or workflow in the inventory and hardware areas

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade certification is a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, hardware installation, inventory control, or a related manufacturing role
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and basic technical drawings
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using computers (Microsoft Office, inventory software)
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand throughout the shift
